Randy Pozniak
Local Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Randy Pozniak sees the best of both worlds spending time on beautiful Rainy Lake and breaking up the winters with travels to Aruba. Serving as Treasurer on the Corporate Board of Directors for Casa Grande Resort Cooperative Association in Aruba allows Pozniak to extend his love for outdoor activities to a warmer climate. Pozniak enjoys fishing, boating, hunting and other outdoor activities which are possible in both climates.
Pozniak was born and raised in International Falls and graduated from Falls High School in 1969. He attended college at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. Upon graduation he began working in Virginia MN for the accounting firm of Nordling & Teller. Nordling & Teller opened an office in International Falls in December of 1976 and transferred Pozniak to International Falls as office manager, where he later became partner. In December of 1989 Pozniak broke out on his own to form his company that is in operation today, Randy Pozniak, LTD. Pozniak employs four other people besides himself and offers services including income tax preparation, financial statements, tax planning and auditing services.
Recent growth opportunities resulted in an expansion of the office in December of 2008, with Pozniak adding another professional to his team. The new professional coming on board, an International Falls native, is currently working on his CPA licensure and is expected to transition to partner as Pozniak nears retirement.
Pozniak is married to wife, Kelly and has a son John who is a student at the University of Minnesota with thoughts of enrolling in medical school. He has two step children Angela and Brandon and three wonderful grand daughters ages 10, 8 and 3. Pozniak enjoys being active in community affairs, especially through the local Rotary Club.
